Drought, floods, conflict, displacement and disease outbreaks repeatedly hit communities in South and Central Somalia. KPHF responds quickly and flexibly, in coordination with partners, to save lives and protect dignity, including in fragile and hard-to-reach areas.
Prolonged droughts, flash floods along the Shabelle and Juba rivers, insecurity, market volatility and displacement keep many households in chronic poverty and food insecurity. KPHF helps families produce more, earn more and recover faster, so they rely less on aid.
Fragile health systems, widespread malnutrition, displacement and recurring outbreaks put lives at risk across South and Central Somalia. KPHF delivers preventive, curative and promotive health services, with a focus on women, children and other vulnerable groups.
Safe water, sanitation and hygiene remain out of reach for many IDP settlements, rural villages and peri-urban areas affected by conflict and drought. KPHF works to cut waterborne disease, improve public health and restore dignity.
Poverty, unemployment, displacement, insecurity and social norms hold back women and young people, who are central to Somalia’s recovery and peace. KPHF strengthens their economic participation, leadership and role in community decisions.
Conflict, repeated displacement, weak rule of law and harmful norms expose women, children, older people, minorities and persons with disabilities to violence, exploitation, family separation and barriers to justice. KPHF works for safer communities and greater respect for human rights.
Established on 10 December 2019 by a group of professionals, Khaire Peace Humanitarian Fund works in areas affected by conflict, displacement and natural disasters. We focus on emergency aid, livelihood development and protection, improving food security, health and sanitation while advocating for human rights, youth empowerment and gender equality.
Half of our staff serve as volunteers, which keeps our work rooted in community-driven solutions. We collaborate with local leaders, educators, stakeholders and donors so every intervention is effective, timely and sustainable.

Human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found, with particular attention to children, women, people with disabilities and the elderly.
Assistance is provided without taking sides in hostilities or in political, religious or ideological controversies.
Relief is guided solely by needs and the rights of people affected, regardless of origin, gender, nationality, opinion or religion.
